Wednesday AM: Getting tricky for holiday travel

Good Wednesday morning!  I hope you are having a great short week.  I am sitting here getting some work done and enjoying my very early Wednesday morning.  What else is their to do?  I hope you have enjoyed the sun over the past couple of days as it is gone for the next several days.  We have a pretty strong but weird storm system working in.  I say weird because it is very disorganized, but it will still give us some very heavy amounts of rain.  Take a look at the radar below.

Not much is going on for us right now.  We will just see mainly cloudy skies today with a few random showers today.  I still expect high temperatures to make it up into the lower 60s for highs.  I do think a few showers will pop-up, especially late in the day.

On Thanksgiving, thunderstorms will really increase with heavy amounts of rain.  I think areas will pick up between 1-2″ of rain.

Look at the temperatures on Thanksgiving evening.

That freezing line is plowing SE, we need to watch it on Friday and Saturday.  I think it will put the breaks on somewhere in SE KS, but we need to watch it as the moisture will still be around.

December 13th-19th:

Mild with rain chances to start the week.  As colder air works in we could see rain or snow by the middle of the week.  Cool temperatures for the second half of the week with a second system and rain or snow chances by the weekend.
