Wednesday night/Thursday morning Blog: Warming up!

Good Wednesday night!  I hope you have had a great week so far.  Mine has been pretty good.  I think I am over the turkey coma.  All of the leftovers have been gone for days and I am back in the swing of things at work.  I have been mainly trying to get stuff done at home and errands ran before work the past couple of days.  At least the weather has improved over the past couple of days.  Take a look at the radar below.

Not to much is going on right now.  After a cold start Thursday morning, we will see a decent finish with highs in the lower 50s.

Thursday

We do have a weak wave that will affect us on Sunday, but it doesn’t look like a huge deal right now.  In fact I don’t see a big system until about the 13th-15th.

Next system

You can see the models already picking up a big storm system.  This fits right in with the Heady Pattern.  For my latest long range forecast and on what I am thinking down the road, go to headypattern.com

LONG RANGE FORECAST IS BELOW BASED OFF THE HEADY PATTERN:

Here is your 7-day forecast:

Remember that you can sign up for WeatherCall by clicking the WeatherCall link at the top of the page. WeatherCall, in our opinion, is the best tool on the market to keep you safe during severe weather.

Also we have our free WEATHER APP that lets you access our forecast, blog, radar and weather alerts. I think it’s a must if you own an Apple or Android phone.

LONG RANGE FORECAST: Based off of the HP(Heady Pattern)

SLIGHT CHANCES:  MEAN IT IS A WEAKER SYSTEM THAT WILL GIVE US SCATTERED SHOWERS OR SNOW SHOWERS.

IF I DON’T SAY SLIGHT:  THAT MEANS THIS IS A STRONGER SYSTEM THAT WILL GIVE US MUCH BETTER PRECIPITATION CHANCES

Next Thursday:  Mild and partly sunny.

Next Friday:  Mild and partly sunny.

Next Saturday:  Mild with slight rain chances.

December 13th-19th:

We should have a decent storm system early in the week.  I am going with rain and snow chances on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.  Temperatures should stay cool through about Friday with another weaker wave with slight chances for rain or snow on Thursday.  Warmer temperatures work in for the weekend.

December 20th-26th:

Mild with rain and snow working back in on Sunday and Monday.  Another system right behind it for Wednesday, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.  So we do have chances for snow right around Christmas.  Staying cool into the weekend.

December 27th-January 2nd:

A mild start to the week with another system working in for Tuesday and Wednesday with rain and snow chances.  Cold temperatures for the rest of the week with precip chances by the weekend.
