Friday Night Blog: Weekend Forecast, plus down the road

Good Friday night/Saturday morning!  I hope you had a great work week and ready for the weekend.  I am always ready for weekends!  Who in their right mind wouldn’t be ready for the weekend.  I do actually have to get a decent amount of work done tomorrow morning and I need to do some house cleaning.  I would also like to start working on my next table project (it isn’t going to happen, I won’t have time but it is a nice thought).  Plus the weather won’t be to bad, so you might as well get outside and enjoy it.  On Sunday, I will be in the Carl Junction Christmas Parade and then race home to watch the Chiefs game.  I am a little worried about this game.  The Chiefs seem to have troubles with the Raiders in Oakland, plus the Raiders are a greatly improved team.  But at least the weather looks good.  Check out the radar below.

Not much is going on and Saturday looks great.

Saturday

We do have a weak wave rolling in on Sunday that will give us some clouds and maybe a few sprinkles.

Sunday 500

You can see this wave passing through.  It actually looks fairly impressive, but it doesn’t have any moisture to work with.

Rain Sunday

However, we could see a few random sprinkles or a quick shower on Sunday morning, but that is about it.

Many big systems are stacking up out west getting reading to push in for the rest of the month.  All the details are on headypattern.com

Also we have our free WEATHER APP that lets you access our forecast, blog, radar and weather alerts. I think it’s a must if you own an Apple or Android phone.

LONG RANGE FORECAST: Based off of the HP(Heady Pattern)

SLIGHT CHANCES:  MEAN IT IS A WEAKER SYSTEM THAT WILL GIVE US SCATTERED SHOWERS OR SNOW SHOWERS.

IF I DON’T SAY SLIGHT:  THAT MEANS THIS IS A STRONGER SYSTEM THAT WILL GIVE US MUCH BETTER PRECIPITATION CHANCES

Next Weekend:  Showers and thunderstorms with colder air working in by Sunday.  We could see a little bit of wintry weather on Sunday.

December 13th-19th:

A cold start to the week with rain and snow chances on Tuesday and Wednesday.  Staying cool through the week with another system on Friday and Saturday with addition rain and snow chances.

December 20th-26th:

We start the week with cool temperatures and slight chances for rain and snow.  Temperatures will warm up a bit for Christmas Eve with rain chances.  We should cool down for Christmas with slight chances for rain and snow.  We will stay cool the rest of the week.

December 27th-January 2nd:

Rain and snow chances return on Sunday and Monday with our next storm system working in.  We will have a brief break before the next system works in with rain and snow chances on Wednesday and Thursday.  Then cool and dry the rest of the week.
