Good Saturday evening, everyone. It was great to see the sun once again today! We had to start with plenty of cloud cover, but some of that eroded away this afternoon. Since the cloud cover broke apart a little later than expected, that meant highs today topped out mainly in the middle to upper 30s. Temperatures won’t drop much more tonight. We should start around 31° Sunday morning with nothing on the radar below…
We keep the skies partly sunny throughout Sunday afternoon. Despite that, we’ll have a good southerly breeze gusting near 25 mph at times. That’ll help most spots warm up to 52° for afternoon highs…
We keep things quiet for Sunday, but our next system is forming out in Colorado and New Mexico. It doesn’t look impressive as of Saturday night, but this will be heading our way…
Ahead of the system, clouds will increase into Monday morning. As this system sweeps through, we’ll see scattered showers in spots during the day. If you don’t see the rain showers Monday, expect cloudy skies and a cool day with highs in the upper 40s…
After the cold front moves out, we’ll temporarily fall back into the 30s for highs on Tuesday. Thankfully, we warm up during the second part of the week with a good chance for some spots getting close to 60° on Friday and Saturday…
If you’re wondering when the next big system will be working in here, it’ll be to start the month of February. We look to stick with Doug’s pattern going into February, so that means we’ll be watching quite a few systems to start the month
For the latest on the long-range forecast and Doug’s pattern, he has you covered over on headypattern.com
Have a good night and a great Sunday!
