Wednesday Morning Blog: Warmer temperatures working in! Plus another storm system

Good early Wednesday morning.  I hope your week is going great so far.  Mine has been pretty good, just flying by as most days seem to.  The weather is definitely much calmer this week compared to last week.  Actually it is a complete opposite with the warmer air that is working in.  Take a look at the radar below.

Not to much is going on for us and it should stay pretty calm over the next few days.

Tuesday forecast

We will continue to warm-up through the 50s into the 60s on Friday and Saturday.  We will have a fairly zonal flow with the jet stream.

Friday 500

You can see all of the storm systems are up north across the northern US.  Even this is right in line with the Heady Pattern.  Lets go back one cycle.

December 12th

You can see this exact same look just one cycle ago on December 12th.  Now, we have gone through 3 full cycles and this is the 4th cycle we are in.   Our next big system pushes in late Monday and Tuesday.

December 14th Tuesday evening precip

This will be mainly a rain maker but something we need to watch.  Get more detail on this plus my long range forecast on headypattern.com

Also we have our free WEATHER APP that lets you access our forecast, blog, radar and weather alerts. I think it’s a must if you own an Apple or Android phone.

LONG RANGE FORECAST: Based off of the HP(Heady Pattern)

SLIGHT CHANCES:  MEAN IT IS A WEAKER SYSTEM THAT WILL GIVE US SCATTERED SHOWERS OR SNOW SHOWERS.

IF I DON’T SAY SLIGHT:  THAT MEANS THIS IS A STRONGER SYSTEM THAT WILL GIVE US MUCH BETTER PRECIPITATION CHANCES

Next Week:

Showers or at least a few on Sunday.  Showers and thunderstorm on Tuesday that could end with snow showers late Tuesday and into Wednesday.  Turning much colder for the rest of the week with slight chances for snow over the weekend.

Feb 14th-20th:

A cool start to the week with slight chances for snow on the Super Bowl.  Another wave on Tuesday and Wednesday with rain and snow chances will push through.  Staying cool most of the week with rain and snow chances on Friday.
