Good Saturday afternoon. I hope you are having a great weekend so far. Mine has been pretty good. I have been hanging out with my son so far today and we haven’t done much yet. We are going to run a few errands and then get outside and work on hitting the ball. Keep your eye on the ball! I really do need to change the rear brakes on my truck but I think he may lose interest on that one. However, I loved learning that stuff when I was a kid, but 6 years old may be a little young for that one. At least the weather is turning out to be a pretty good day. Plus lets go KU. I was a little nervous about Maryland but since the bracket came out the team that scared me the most was Villanova. Here we are, bring it Villanova, but I am nervous. Take a look at the radar below.
One wave passed by to our north this morning with a few scattered showers. Our second stronger wave will work in later tonight.
Showers will spread through the area during the morning on Easter Morning. In fact in our northern counties we could see a burst of light snow.
This should all push out of here by the afternoon on Sunday. However, it could leave a stripe of a few inches of snow from Wichita through Yates Center to Kansas City.
So in our NW counties, don’t be surprised if you see a burst of snow during the morning hours on Easter. Our next system rolls in late Tuesday and Wednesday.
We will have to see how this rolls out, but this could give us a few stronger storms on Wednesday afternoon. For all of my long range forecasts check out headypattern.com
