Good Friday morning! I hope your week is going great so far. Mine is going pretty good, but busy of course. I am trying to get stuff done and have a ton actually I need to do this morning as I would love to hit the lake by the afternoon. However, the weather for outdoor plans this weekend will be a little tricky. We are going to get back into the scattered thunderstorms over the next few days. Take a look at the radar below.
We have a cold front that is sinking south during the day today. This is going to give us chances for showers and thunderstorms. Plus it will lower our temperatures and humidity a bit over the weekend. We will have scattered showers this morning as thunderstorm die as they push east into the area.
By the afternoon, we will heat back up with additional scattered thunderstorms. However, our cold front will slip into the area and sit on us for a couple of days. I still think most of us will make it into the mid 90s for highs. More thunderstorm will roll in late tonight.
As this front hangs around, we should see additional scattered thunderstorms Saturday afternoon.
The front will still be around on Sunday, but slowly lifting back toward the north. This will allow the heat and humidity to return by early next week. We will see the front close enough to us through the week that we will see a continued chance for scattered thunderstorms each day.
