Monday Evening August 29th Update – Some Changes on the Way

Good Monday evening, everyone. It was another day where most spots stayed dry while others got some random t-storms to work through. Whether or not you saw any rain today, it was another warm one with highs in the upper 80s. Whatever t-storms we have out there by sunset on the radar below, they’ll fade once we lose the heating of the day…

We’ll head into the overnight and Tuesday morning with partly cloudy skies and overnight lows dropping back to about 70°. The humid air mass will remain in place for Tuesday afternoon. As we warm back up, that will spark additional random t-storms for the afternoon…

Rain or shine, we’ll be partly sunny for our Tuesday with afternoon highs climbing into the upper 80s to about 90°…

Going into Wednesday, our setup will change up a bit. We’ll still be warm with t-storm chances for the day, but the rain chances will pick up quite a bit…

The expected coverage of t-storms for Wednesday will pick up thanks to a cold front that will work in during the day…

Once we get behind the front, we’re quiet and dry for Thursday through most of the Labor Day Weekend. In fact, we’ll be a little cooler behind it. Expect highs behind the front in the lower to middle 80s Thursday and into most of the weekend. We’ll heat back up near 90° by Labor Day. Have a good evening and a great Tuesday!

LONG RANGE FORECAST: Based off of the HP(Heady Pattern)

SLIGHT CHANCES:  MEAN IT IS A WEAKER SYSTEM THAT WILL GIVE US SCATTERED SHOWERS OR SNOW SHOWERS.

IF I DON’T SAY SLIGHT:  THAT MEANS THIS IS A STRONGER SYSTEM

September 4th-10th:  Hot with slight chances for thunderstorms on Monday and Tuesday.  Additional chances for thunderstorms toward the weekend.

September 11th-17th:  Mild start to the week with a warming trend through the week.  Hot temperatures should return by the weekend with most of the week on the dry side.
