Thursday night/Friday AM Blog: Much cooler temperatures, plus a look at September.

Good Thursday night or early Friday morning.  I hope your week has been great!  Mine has been very busy with work computer stuff.  We have had issues all week long with out computer graphics system.  So lets say I am not best friends with our customer support team.  However, at least the weather is great!  After several hot days and periods of showers and thunderstorms,  all of it has moved out of the area.  Take a look at the radar below.

We will have a fantastic Friday.

Friday

However, we will have a slow warming trend through the 80s over the holiday weekend.  I do think we will be back into the 90-92 degree range for Labor Day.  We should stay dry through the period.

Check out Hermine making landfall this morning as a cat. 1 hurricane.

Hermine

Hermine, will cause havoc up the eastern coast over the next couple of days.

So what about September.  September is a huge transition month.  This is when the Heady Pattern completely sets up and is in place for the next year.  Our new cycle is already in place which is a few days longer than our 49 day cycle of last year.  I have already watched it go through its first cycle.  For this month we are going to see much stronger storm systems with bigger colder blasts of air like we have right now.  I will go into much more detail on this on headypattern.com

Remember that you can sign up for WeatherCall by clicking the WeatherCall link at the top of the page. WeatherCall, in our opinion, is the best tool on the market to keep you safe during severe weather.

Also we have our free WEATHER APP that lets you access our forecast, blog, radar and weather alerts. I think it’s a must if you own an Apple or Android phone.

LONG RANGE FORECAST: Based off of the HP(Heady Pattern)

SLIGHT CHANCES:  MEAN IT IS A WEAKER SYSTEM THAT WILL GIVE US SCATTERED SHOWERS OR SNOW SHOWERS.

IF I DON’T SAY SLIGHT:  THAT MEANS THIS IS A STRONGER SYSTEM

Next Week:  Heating up through the week with pop-up storms most of the week during the afternoon.

September 11th-17th:  Most of the week will be on the mild side with rain chances on Tuesday and Wednesday.  Additional rain chances on Friday and Saturday with cooler temperatures working in.

September 18th-24th:  Warming back up this week with rain chances Monday through Friday as we have a stalled out front through the region.
