Wednesday PM Blog: A lot of clouds and some thunderstorms

Good Wednesday afternoon!  I hope your day is going great.  I haven’t left the house yet today.  I have been sitting here staring at this wonderful oh I would say 20″ box working all morning on random stuff.  Of course I better leave here sometime and head into work.

We do have a few scattered thunderstorms across the region which you can see on the radar below.

We will continue to have a few pop-up storms this afternoon.  I am not expecting anything to strong or severe.  Here is a look at later today.

Afternoon

Most of these little pop-up storms will die down by sunset and shift east.  However, this is wave number one of a couple waves we will see over the next few days.  We a weak front hanging around and the moisture, pop-up afternoon storms will return again for Thursday afternoon.

Thursday

Another cold front will drop south on Friday giving us our best shot for at least widespread thunderstorms on Friday afternoon and evening.

Friday

Some of these could be on the stronger side.  I will keep my eyes on it over the next couple of days.

Remember you can get all of my information on the Heady Pattern at headypattern.com  I have my latest thoughts on the new pattern up and posted.

LONG RANGE FORECAST IS BELOW BASED OFF THE HEADY PATTERN:

Here is your 7-day forecast:

Remember that you can sign up for WeatherCall by clicking the WeatherCall link at the top of the page. WeatherCall, in our opinion, is the best tool on the market to keep you safe during severe weather.

Also we have our free WEATHER APP that lets you access our forecast, blog, radar and weather alerts. I think it’s a must if you own an Apple or Android phone.

LONG RANGE FORECAST: Based off of the HP(Heady Pattern)

SLIGHT CHANCES:  MEAN IT IS A WEAKER SYSTEM THAT WILL GIVE US SCATTERED SHOWERS OR SNOW SHOWERS.

IF I DON’T SAY SLIGHT:  THAT MEANS THIS IS A STRONGER SYSTEM

Next Week:  Another warm week with scattered thunderstorms from Tuesday through Saturday.

September 25th-October 1st:  A mild start to the week with a warm finish. Rain chances on Sunday, Wednesday and Saturday.
