Monday night blog: Rain chances increasing

Good Monday evening!  I hope you had a fantastic weekend.  Mine was pretty good.  I got up to KC for my nieces b-day party on Saturday.  I always have fun at my sisters house and she only has one more treatment of chemo after a year of fighting breast cancer.  Yesterday, I was outside most of the day and of course grilled out with the great weather.  I grill some salmon, which turned out just about perfect.  Once I got inside, I watched the slaughtering of the my Chiefs.  Holy Cow!  It was like watching an NFL team vs. a high school team.  I was not happy.  After watching the first 4 games of my Chiefs, I have come to the conclusion they just aren’t that good of a team right now.

At least the weather is great, but we have chances working in.  Look at the radar below.

Our rain chances will increase by late Tuesday.  Take a look at a break down of the forecast.

Remember that you can sign up for WeatherCall by clicking the WeatherCall link at the top of the page. WeatherCall, in our opinion, is the best tool on the market to keep you safe during severe weather.

Also we have our free WEATHER APP that lets you access our forecast, blog, radar and weather alerts. I think it’s a must if you own an Apple or Android phone.

LONG RANGE FORECAST: Based off of the HP(Heady Pattern)

SLIGHT CHANCES:  MEAN IT IS A WEAKER SYSTEM THAT WILL GIVE US SCATTERED SHOWERS OR SNOW SHOWERS.

IF I DON’T SAY SLIGHT:  THAT MEANS THIS IS A STRONGER SYSTEM

Next Week:  A mild start to the week with a warming trend through the week.  Mainly dry through the week.

October 16th-22nd:  Chances for rain with a storm system working through from Sunday through Tuesday.  A second system will keep the rain chances around from Wednesday through Friday.  Temperatures will be mild through the week with us cooling down a bit toward the weekend.
