Good Sunday evening, everyone. It was certainly another pretty cool start to our Sunday with lows dropping back into the middle to upper 40s. We were able to rebound after that cool start with highs climbing back into the lower to middle 70s all across the area. Many of you must be wondering if we can keep this streak of nice weather going for the coming work/school week. We’ll start with the radar below. Late this evening, we do have a few showers trying to sneak in from Enid and northwest of Tulsa. A shower or two could hold together on the KS and OK side, but we’ll keep things quiet overall as we go into Monday…
Our rain chances will really start to pick up when our next front arrives by the middle of the week. That front tonight is well to our northwest and it stretches from the Canadian border to the northwestern United States…
As long as it leaves us alone for tonight and Monday, we’ll keep things pretty quiet in our area. After a chilly start in the lower 50s, we’ll have afternoon highs rebound into the middle 70s. Partly sunny skies will be the rule of thumb with a south breeze at 5-10 mph throughout the day…
We trend warmer with highs back near 80° on Tuesday, but we stay quiet under partly to mostly sunny skies. Late Tuesday night and through the day on Wednesday, our front will start to work in. We could start with some rain on Wednesday morning, but we’ll have some periods of rain and t-storms throughout the day as the front works through…
Highs should drop back to the lower 70s as the front works through on Wednesday. We look to stay mainly in the upper 60s for highs Thursday and Friday as a warm front works in. That will primarily happen late Thursday afternoon/Thursday evening and continue into a good part of Friday. That’s when another shot of rain and t-storms will work through. For now, I expect the rain chances to temporarily move out Friday evening. Saturday still looks dry and warm with highs near 80° before another shot of rain wants to sneak back in next Sunday.
