Late Sunday PM October 23rd Update – Let’s Hit The Repeat Button

Good late Sunday evening, everyone. Like clockwork, we’ve managed to wrap the weekend up with another quiet day in the Four States. The southwest wind managed to warm us from a chilly start in the middle 50s to highs around 79°. Another day above normal, but it wasn’t anything to complain about under mostly sunny skies. We’ll do it all over again for Monday. So, another night will come and go with nothing popping up on the radar below…

There has been a little change in our surface map setup. High pressure that kept us quiet this weekend continues to drift off into the southeastern United States. We still had a southwest breeze coming from the high that warmed us up again today. By morning, a weak cold front will pass through that will only shift our wind from the east and cool us down a little. The backside of the front will reorganize itself before that works in…

setup

After we start chilly again for Monday morning with lows around 53°, the east breeze will take the edge of the warmth a little bit. Instead of upper 70s for highs, we should see highs around 75° under mostly sunny skies…

mondaypm

We stay quiet again on Tuesday, but we’ll switch over to partly sunny skies ahead of incoming rain chances. Highs will still top out in the middle 70s Tuesday afternoon. Going into Wednesday, that front sitting in the Rockies will have reorganized and it will work in. Plan on t-storm chances not only to start the day but for most of your Wednesday…

wednesday

Once the front clears out Wednesday night, we quiet down and keep highs in the 70s Thursday and going into the weekend. In fact, the upcoming weekend doesn’t look too shabby…

lookingahead

We’ll start the weekend warm with highs in the upper 70s on Friday. We drop into the lower to middle 70s for Saturday and the upper 60s should return on Sunday. The weekend looks dry, but we’ll still keep an eye on possible rain chances for Halloween and next Tuesday. Have a good night and enjoy your Monday!

LONG RANGE FORECAST: Based off of the HP(Heady Pattern)

SLIGHT CHANCES:  MEAN IT IS A WEAKER SYSTEM THAT WILL GIVE US SCATTERED SHOWERS OR SNOW SHOWERS.

IF I DON’T SAY SLIGHT:  THAT MEANS THIS IS A STRONGER SYSTEM

Next Week:  Mild most of the week with rain chances on Wednesday.  Turning a little cooler late in the week.

October 30th-Saturday 5th:  Mild on Sunday and Halloween with rain chances.  Turning colder for the middle of the week with a slow warming trend into the weekend.
