Wednesday Evening November 30th Update – Next System Moving In Soon

Good Wednesday evening, everyone. Well, Mother Nature certainly brought us back to reality after we had a few warmer days around here. After highs near 60° yesterday, another cold front passed through and only allowed us to warm up into the middle to upper 40s today. We’re not expecting crazy weather tonight, so we’ll stay quiet on the radar below…

Even though we stay quiet, we’ll definitely continue to cool down with mostly clear skies and a light breeze tonight. Temperatures will continue to fall through the 30s for the rest of the evening. By the time we head back to work/school Thursday morning, we’ll start cold with lows in the upper 20s to near 30°…

Thursday is looking pretty good overall. Skies will stay partly to mostly sunny and the west breeze will stay fairly light. As a result, we’ll be a hair warmer for Thursday afternoon. Highs should top out in the upper 40s…

We’ll go a hair warmer again for Friday with highs in the lower 50s. However, clouds will certainly be on the increase throughout the day. The cloud cover and eventual rain chances will pick up as our next system starts to influence our weather setup. The upper low may be well to our southwest going into Saturday morning below, but we’ll get some impulses off of that…

Those impulses will send rain chances our way late Friday night and especially going into Saturday. The 18Z NAM picks up on that idea pretty well by midnight Saturday…

If it gets cold enough Saturday morning, we could see a little snow mix in with the rain before we switch back over to just rain for the rest of our Saturday. We’ll have a break on Sunday followed by another system that will bring rain chances back in for next Monday. After another break next Tuesday, another system will work in on Wednesday…

The system for next Wednesday could be an interesting one, so we’ll keep our eyes on it. For now, we have the system starting us at midnight highs near 50° and dropping for Wednesday as rain chances work back in. If you’re curious about the next few weeks around here, Doug has you covered with the long-range forecast below. Have a good night and a great Thursday!

LONG RANGE FORECAST: Based off of the HP(Heady Pattern)

SLIGHT CHANCES:  MEAN IT IS A WEAKER SYSTEM THAT WILL GIVE US SCATTERED SHOWERS OR SNOW SHOWERS.

IF I DON’T SAY SLIGHT:  THAT MEANS THIS IS A STRONGER SYSTEM

Next Week:  Cool with rain and even snow chances from Monday through Thursday with two systems working through.  Cold temperatures stick around into the weekend.

December 18th-Christmas Eve:  Mild temperatures return this week with rain chances by Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
