Thursday Evening Blog: Nice temperatures for the holiday weekend, but changes working in.

Good Thursday evening!  I hope your work week is going great!  Mine has been pretty good so far.  It has been busy as always but not to bad.  Christmas has come and gone and now we are getting ready for 2017 if you can believe it.  We do have a couple of waves working through, but in general I think it looks fairly nice.  However, we have bigger changes down the road.  Take a look at the radar below.  It is nice dry at this time.

Here is my latest updated video-cast with all the details on what will happen over the next week.

Don’t forget to go to headypattern.com for all the latest on our long range forecast and pattern.

LONG RANGE FORECAST: Based off of the HP(Heady Pattern)

SLIGHT CHANCES:  MEAN IT IS A WEAKER SYSTEM THAT WILL GIVE US SCATTERED SHOWERS OR SNOW SHOWERS.

IF I DON’T SAY SLIGHT:  THAT MEANS THIS IS A STRONGER SYSTEM

Next Week:  Turning much colder by the middle of the week as another arctic blast rolls through the area.  We could see a random shower or snow shower with it on Tuesday, but it looks to stay mainly dry.  Staying cold the rest of the week with slight chances for snow on Friday.

January 9th-15th:  A cold start to the week, but warming up a bit for the middle of the week.  Our next storm system rolls through during the middle of the week with rain and snow chances on Tuesday and Wednesday.  Cooling back down and staying dry into the weekend.
