Tuesday Evening January 17th Update – Some Rain Chances On The Way

Good Tuesday evening, everyone. After our main weekend system moved on out with its last batch of rain yesterday, we have trended back to where we should be for this time of the year. After seeing temperatures briefly top out in the 60s yesterday, all we could muster today was highs in the upper 30s to lower 40s. Even though we stay cold and mostly cloudy tonight, the radar below stays quiet…

We’ll see milder air return along with rain chances over the next several days. Doug spills all the details for you on his updated videocast below…

Remember, Doug also has you covered over on headypattern.com if you want the long range forecast through the end of February and his latest thoughts on the pattern.

Have a great night and a great Wednesday!

Nick

LONG RANGE FORECAST: Based off of the HP(Heady Pattern)

SLIGHT CHANCES:  MEAN IT IS A WEAKER SYSTEM THAT WILL GIVE US SCATTERED SHOWERS OR SNOW SHOWERS.

IF I DON’T SAY SLIGHT:  THAT MEANS THIS IS A STRONGER SYSTEM

Next Week:  Rain chances with a storm system working through on Sunday and Monday.  Turning colder the rest of the week with rain or snow chances on Wednesday and Thursday.  Staying cold into the weekend.

January 29th-February 4th:  Temperatures stay mainly on the cold side through the week with rain and snow chances on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
