January 22nd PM Update – Mild Start Before Winter Returns

Good Sunday evening, everyone. Hopefully, you all made the most of your weekend. We started on a good note Friday followed by some rain yesterday into this afternoon. Believe it or not, we had early midnight highs in the 50s for our January 22nd. With most spots sticking with cloud cover and some rain for most of the day, afternoon temperatures only managed to hold into the middle to upper 40s. At least we’re done with any rain on the radar below…

Going into this week, we’ll have a bit of a mild start. However, Mother Nature will be quick to remind us all that it’s still winter around here. I break down the week ahead for you below…

Remember that Doug has you covered with his long-range forecast and latest thoughts on the pattern over at headypattern.com

Have a good night and a great Monday!

LONG RANGE FORECAST: Based off of the HP(Heady Pattern)

SLIGHT CHANCES:  MEAN IT IS A WEAKER SYSTEM THAT WILL GIVE US SCATTERED SHOWERS OR SNOW SHOWERS.

IF I DON’T SAY SLIGHT:  THAT MEANS THIS IS A STRONGER SYSTEM

Next Week:  Cold temperatures stick around with a few weak waves rolling through the first have of the week.  This will give us some rain and snow chances from Sunday through Wednesday.  Cold temperatures stick around the rest of the week.

February 5th-11th:  Mild temperatures with rain and snow chances on Monday and Tuesday.  Colder air works right back in for the rest of the week.  We will start to warm back up for the weekend.
