Saturday Evening January 28th Update – Starting the Week Ahead Quiet

Good Saturday evening, everyone. Our Saturday turned out to be a pretty good one all around the area. Mostly clear skies this morning did mean we had to start cold with lows in the upper 20s to lower 30s. Even as cloud cover increased through the afternoon and this evening, we were able to get highs into the upper 40s and lower 50s. We do have a week wave passing through that’s giving us cloud cover and some returns on the radar below…

Our setup is a touch too dry at the surface for anything to reach the ground, so we’ll stay dry tonight. How about Sunday? How about the rest of the week? I have the latest videocast updated below…

Don’t forget that Doug has you covered with his latest thoughts on the pattern and his long range forecast over on headypattern.com

Have a good night and a great Sunday!

LONG RANGE FORECAST: Based off of the HP(Heady Pattern)

SLIGHT CHANCES:  MEAN IT IS A WEAKER SYSTEM THAT WILL GIVE US SCATTERED SHOWERS OR SNOW SHOWERS.

IF I DON’T SAY SLIGHT:  THAT MEANS THIS IS A STRONGER SYSTEM

February 5th – 11th:  A cool start to the week with chances for rain or snow on Sunday.  Staying cold through the week with slight chances for rain or snow on Tuesday and Wednesday.  Dry the rest of the week with cool temperatures.

February 12th-18th:  Mild with rain chances again on Sunday and Monday.  With colder air working in, we could see a little bit of snow for Valentine’s Day.  Temperatures warm right back up and stay mild into the weekend.
