Good Friday afternoon, everyone. It has been a quiet day so far, but the clouds have kept us cold today. Even though we’ll be going back and forth between partly sunny and mostly cloudy skies for the rest of the day, we won’t have anything popping up on the radar below…
Even with the clouds today, we should have afternoon highs top out mainly around 36° or 37°. Going into tonight, we stay quiet with partly cloudy skies. That will allow us to stay cold with overnight lows going back into the lower to middle 20s.
As far as the weekend is concerned, we look pretty good. Despite mostly cloudy skies again by Saturday afternoon, we expect highs to return to the middle 40s. After highs climb close to 60° Sunday, we should be back into the lower to middle 60s by Monday…
Even though Monday may be our warmest day over the next seven days, we’ll have our next system bring some chances for rain and t-storms primarily on Monday afternoon. We’ll have some rain and t-storm chances stick around through Tuesday morning…
The warmest we’ll get on Tuesday is about 62° and that will take place early in the day. Once we get into Tuesday afternoon and especially Tuesday night, temperatures will drop quite a bit. We’ll have overnight lows Wednesday drop back into the middle 20s with afternoon highs in the middle to upper 30s…
With the cold air still in place Thursday, we’ll watch another system clip by us. If it can get enough moisture, we could see some snow flurries or a few snow showers by Thursday. It’s not looking like a big deal by any means, but it’s something we’ll watch by next Thursday…
