Good late Sunday evening, everyone. We certainly know how to wrap up a weekend around here. Today turned out to be a pretty good day. We had some patchy fog/mist this morning, but we started quiet and chilly with lows in the lower 40s. However, we wasted no time warming up quite a bit! Our normal high should be 52°, but we went quite a bit beyond that. Joplin recorded an official high of 78° this afternoon, breaking the old record of 75° set back in 2011. Even though we kept quite for Sunday, we’ll have to break the nice streak for a day with rain chances working in overnight. You can see the rain chances working in on the radar below…
We’ll have rain chances to start the work week, another warm streak this week followed by a return to the February norm by the weekend. I break it all down in the videocast below…
