Saturday Evening February 25th Update – Some Rain Chances Sneaking Back In

Good late Saturday evening, everyone. Nick here, back in the office after a little time away. I went home this past week to enjoy some time with family and I got to go to 2 great music stores. If you ever want to find good, interesting or hard-to-find music in St. Louis, you need to try Vintage Vinyl in the University City Loop and Euclid Records in Webster Groves. You can find quite a bit of classic rock at Vintage Vinyl and Euclid Records is actually a 2-story shop with most of the upper level sporting quite a selection of jazz. They’re just a few great places to look for music if you’re ever near my hometown!

Let’s talk weather. The cold front that passed through on Friday certainly did a good job bringing temperatures back to reality. After highs bouncing between the 60s, 70s and 80s this week, winter returned for your Saturday as highs topped out in the middle 40s. We start the overnight quiet on the radar below, even though cloud cover will increase by Sunday morning…

Even with clouds on the increase and rain chances sneaking back in starting on your Sunday, we’ll have a roller coaster ride of temperatures setting up around here. I break down how your week ahead is shaping up below…

Don’t forget that Doug has you covered with the long-range forecast and thoughts on his pattern over on headypattern.com

Have a good night and a great Sunday!

Nick

LONG RANGE FORECAST: Based off of the HP(Heady Pattern)

SLIGHT CHANCES:  MEAN IT IS A WEAKER SYSTEM THAT WILL GIVE US SCATTERED SHOWERS OR SNOW SHOWERS.

IF I DON’T SAY SLIGHT:  THAT MEANS THIS IS A STRONGER SYSTEM

Next Week:  A cool start to the week with 3 fast moving systems with rain chances.  Rain chances on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.  Temperatures will warm up a bit the second half of the week.

March 12th-18th:  A warm start to the week with thunderstorms on Monday and Tuesday.  Turing cooler the rest of the week with rain chances by the weekend.
