Friday PM June 2nd Update – T-Storm Chances Continue This Weekend

Good Friday evening, everyone. We kept things on the warm side as we kicked off our first weekend of June around here. Even with partly sunny skies, we had afternoon highs climb into the middle 80s. There were only a few t-storms earlier this evening working across northwest Arkansas with a t-storm only working through McDonald county, but those storms have fizzled out. We’ll keep the radar below quiet for the rest of the night…

Even though we had a stray t-storm or two today, an upper level system out west will be a factor in our rain chances for the rest of the weekend. I walk you through those rain chances plus the week ahead in the updated forecast below…

Don’t forget about Doug’s long-range forecast and his latest thoughts on the pattern over at headypattern.com

Have a good night and a great Saturday!

LONG RANGE FORECAST: Based off of the HP(Heady Pattern)

SLIGHT CHANCES:  MEAN IT IS A WEAKER SYSTEM THAT WILL GIVE US SCATTERED SHOWERS OR SNOW SHOWERS.

IF I DON’T SAY SLIGHT:  THAT MEANS THIS IS A STRONGER SYSTEM

June 4th-10th:  Warm with thunderstorms on Tuesday and Wednesday.  Then slight chances on Friday and Saturday.

June 11th-17th:  Hot most of the week with slight chances for thunderstorms on Thursday and Friday.
