Early Sunday AM June 18th Update – Father’s Day Starts Off With AM T-Storms

Good early Sunday morning, everyone. After keeping an eye on strong to severe t-storms yesterday morning and yesterday evening, we’ll trend much quieter for your Father’s Day. Our severe threat has pretty much come to an end, but we’ll still have scattered t-storms on the radar below as we start the morning out…

After we get rid of the AM t-storms, skies will improve as we work into this afternoon. It’ll also be quiet to start the new work week out before some rain chances want to return. My overview of the forecast is below…

Don’t forget that Doug has your long-range forecast and his latest thoughts on the pattern over at headypattern.com

Have a great Father’s Day!

LONG RANGE FORECAST: Based off of the HP(Heady Pattern)

SLIGHT CHANCES:  MEAN IT IS A WEAKER SYSTEM THAT WILL GIVE US SCATTERED SHOWERS OR SNOW SHOWERS.

IF I DON’T SAY SLIGHT:  THAT MEANS THIS IS A STRONGER SYSTEM

June 25th-July 1st:  A hot start to the week with the second half of the week warm with highs into the 80s.  Thunderstorm chances on Tuesday and Wednesday.
