Thursday PM June 22nd – Some T-Storm Chances to Start the Weekend

Good Thursday evening, everyone. Even with skies turning partly sunny today, we managed another warm one all across the area. After starting in the upper 60s this morning, we topped out around 89° this afternoon. Don’t be surprised if this next sentence sounds all too familiar. We started the evening out with t-storms out on the radar below out in western Kansas. Like the past few nights, they’ll collapse as they dive southeast…

Even though we’re dry to start this evening, I do expect t-storm chances to sneak in for the first part of your Friday. We plan on staying warm over the next several days with some rain chances coming and going. I broke down the latest forecast for you below…

Don’t forget that Doug has your long-range forecast and his latest thoughts on the pattern over at headypattern.com

Have a good night and a great Friday!

LONG RANGE FORECAST: Based off of the HP(Heady Pattern)

SLIGHT CHANCES:  MEAN IT IS A WEAKER SYSTEM THAT WILL GIVE US SCATTERED SHOWERS OR SNOW SHOWERS.

IF I DON’T SAY SLIGHT:  THAT MEANS THIS IS A STRONGER SYSTEM

Next Friday & Saturday: We should dry out just in time for the weekend. However, the heat and humidity will pump in as we get closer to the 4th of July.

July 2nd-8th:  The holiday weekend looks great with hot temperatures through the 4th.  Warm the second half of the week with thunderstorm chances on the 5th.
