Good Friday evening, everyone. Even with scattered t-storms in spots today, it was definitely hot and humid. We had afternoon highs climb into the lower to middle 90s after starting near 70° this morning. The thing is, the cold front pulled together quite a bit of moisture. Not only did that spark some t-storms, it made the afternoon/early evening feel miserable. With dew points pushing near 80° early this evening, some spots felt like they were around 110°! We’re getting a break from the heat going into the rest of the night with some t-storms still nearby on the radar below…
We should trend a touch cooler for your Saturday and Sunday before an upper ridge out west works in. Once that does, we’ll definitely have the classic summer heat and humidity in charge for most of next week. I have the latest breakdown of the forecast below…
