Saturday PM July 22nd – Another Hot Week Lining Up

Good Saturday evening, everyone. It was another quiet day but another hot and humid one. After hitting 100° for the first time this summer yesterday, we had Joplin top out at 101° this afternoon. Outlying areas weren’t much better with highs between the upper 90s and lower triple digits. You look at the radar below and you’d think that the rain and some t-storms trying to work in is a sign that we’ll get a break from the heat…

Even with a front bringing in the t-storm chances for your Sunday, it won’t cool us down a lot. In fact, we have another hot week overall lined up for us. I walk you through your Sunday and the week ahead with the latest forecast update below…

Don’t forget that Doug has you covered with his long-range forecast and his thoughts on the pattern over at headypattern.com

Have a good night and a great Sunday!

Nick
