Friday PM August 4th – T-Storm Chances Sneak In for the Rest of the Weekend

Good Friday evening, everyone. Today was pretty great, weather-wise! Normally, we should have highs topping out in the lower 90s and we’ve certainly been hotter than that over the past several summers around here. It didn’t feel like summer or August today, though. After some AM t-storms for a few spots, we spent the whole day with mostly sunny skies and highs topping out near 80°. I wish I could say we’ll repeat it again for the rest of the weekend, but Mother Nature has other plans. So far, the night is starting out quiet on the radar below…

With our t-storm chances this weekend, we’re not looking at anything severe as far as wind, hail or tornadoes. However, with this system picking up some moisture along the way, we could see some flash flooding across parts of the area. Even though we cover the week ahead, we’ll focus on the weekend’s rain chances below…

Have a good night and a great Saturday!
