Sunday PM September 3rd – Hot Labor Day Before We Cool Down

Good Sunday evening, everyone. So far, we’re 3 for 4 for our holiday weekend. It was another quiet day all across the area despite some cloud cover passing through in spots. After we started in the middle 60s this morning, we managed to actually hit 90° at Joplin Regional today. That’s back above our average high of 88°, something we couldn’t say for the past several days. We go into the rest of the night with the radar below staying dry…

In fact, our Labor Day is looking pretty good for most of the day. It will be another hot one, though. With our next front set to work in, though, that will certainly change things up right after the holiday. I have the latest forecast updated for you below…

Don’t forget that Doug has your latest long-range forecast and his thoughts on the pattern over at headypattern.com

Have a good night and a great Labor Day!
