Tuesday Evening Halloween 2017 – Few Showers/Flakes This Evening Before Changes Work In

Good Tuesday evening, everyone. Happy Halloween for those taking part in the holiday this evening. Mother Nature seems to be trying to keep things a bit spooky out there. We’ve seen the cloud cover keep control over the area and even spots of light rain during the afternoon. We’re continuing to see that and a little snow popping up on the radar below..

With an upper level disturbance pushing through this evening, it will keep the cloud cover in place. It will also keep the chance for some rain around. It may be cold enough in some spots in our far northern counties (mainly along & north of U.S. 54) for some snowflakes to mix in…

It’s not going to be a big deal, though. If you see a few flakes, odds are that it won’t stick and it will not mean a snow day for the kids. It will be pretty chilly this evening and we’re still set to turn cold overnight. We’re in the lower to middle 40s to start the evening out with temperatures by sunrise Wednesday dropping into the middle 30s…

In general, the clouds are going to stick around as we go into your Wednesday. On the plus side, a lack of extra moisture keeps us dry for your Wednesday…

Even with the clouds, we’ll have the south breeze return and start warming things up around here. We’ll have Wednesday afternoon highs climbing into the middle 60s…

We’ll still go warmer for Thursday. With more sunshine and more warmer air working in, it’ll be a warm day with highs going into the upper 70s. Then, our next system works in on Friday. You can see that below on the projected surface map 7 AM Friday…

With that front passing through, that will bring the mostly cloudy skies back in here along with some rain chances during the day…

With the rain chances, the clouds and the cooler air, that’ll mean highs on Friday will drop back into the middle 60s. It’s a quick cool-down, though. We’ll be shooting back into the 70s on Saturday and 80s on Sunday before our next system rolls in early next week.

Have a good night and a great Wednesday!
