Wednesday Evening Blog: Temperatures all over the place

Good Wednesday evening!  I hope your Halloween was great and November is kicking off to a good start.  I keep seeing on twitter and FB people posting about Christmas.  What about Thanksgiving???? Don’t skip over it!  That is my favorite eat myself until I can’t move day.  Also, can you believe that we had some snow showers in the area yesterday?  I am excited about the winter.  The new pattern is in place with our cycle length just a little shorter than last years.  We had 3 severe weather events in October and we will continue to stay active through the winter months.  We really haven’t had a winter the past two years and this year should be different.  Remember you can get my long range forecast at

Take a look at the radar below.

We will continue to have the clouds over the next few days but not much in the way of moisture to work with.  However, we will have a nice warm up Thursday.

A cold front pushes in late in the day.  North of I-44 will be in the 70-75 degree range while south of I-44 will be in the 75-80 degree range.  Cooler air works in on Friday with clouds and a random shower.

However, on Saturday, the front races back north and we soar right back into the 70s for highs.

We should be around 80 on Sunday before the next front drops in Sunday evening with showers and thunderstorms.

Have a great Thursday!

Also, we have our free WEATHER APP that lets you access our forecast, blog, radar and weather alerts. We think it’s a must if you own an Apple or Android phone.
