Friday Night Blog: Weekend warm up and the pattern

Good Friday night!  I hope your week was fantastic.  Mine was busy but not to bad.  However, ready for the weekend. We do have fog, clouds and drizzle sticking around for tonight.  Check out the radar below.

Southerly winds are picking up and this will warm us up Saturday with most areas near 70 for highs.

Even warmer Sunday as most of us will push 80 degrees.

We will have a cold front rolling in Sunday evening with a few scattered thunderstorms.  Where are we in the pattern.  Well we sit at about a 50-51 day cycle for the next 9 months.  Take a look at today.

You can see the storm system working into the western Montana.  Lets go back to September 14th.

You can see that exact same system and same Jet Stream pattern from 50-51 days ago.

Have a great weekend!
