Monday Evening November 6th – Staying Cloudy and Cool Tuesday

Good Monday evening, everyone. Well, so much for warming up today. We had cloudy skies all day long with the drizzle and even fog picking up throughout the afternoon. Other than a few spots in our southeastern counties in MO with highs in the lower 50s, we were stuck in the 40s all day. Even though the radar below looks dry and quiet, we do have areas of drizzle out there along with the clouds and fog…

With a few disturbances passing through over the next few days, we won’t see much in the way of change. With the clouds, drizzle and fog locked in place tonight, we’ll hold steady with temperatures in the lower to middle 40s…

After we start with clouds in the morning, they will not go anywhere for the rest of your Tuesday…

We’ll also continue with the drizzle going into the rest of the day. We could also get enough lift in the atmosphere to get a few showers around the area during the afternoon…

Regardless of whether you see the showers or not, the clouds and drizzle will mean temperatures won’t be going anywhere on Tuesday. If there’s any warming during the day, it’ll be a few degrees into the middle 40s…

Even though we’ll stay mostly cloudy for Wednesday, we’ll finally get some pockets of sunshine back into the picture. As a result, we’ll have temperatures climb back close to 50. By Thursday, skies should be partly sunny. That will allow highs to get back into the lower to middle 50s…

Thankfully, the weekend is looking drier with temperatures continuing to climb back into mild territory. After middle to upper 50s for highs on Friday, we’ll bounce into the middle 60s on Veteran’s Day. After a chilly dip for Sunday, we’ll turn mild again by early next week.
