Late Sunday PM December 4th – Changes Start Working In Tomorrow

Good late Sunday evening, everyone. It’s a bit amazing how our first weekend of December ended up quite mild (if not warm). After we started in the middle 40s, we had some spots go into the lower to middle 70s this afternoon. In fact, Joplin Regional topped out at 73° this afternoon. That tied the record high we set 5 years ago! Hopefully, you all enjoyed the unseasonable warmth because changes will start working in during your Monday. For the rest of the night, the radar below will stay quiet…

While the day starts dry, we’ll have plenty of cloud cover around. When our next cold front starts working in, that’s when we’ll see t-storm chances pick up during the afternoon. After we get the front out of here, we turn MUCH colder for the rest of the week. I have the latest forecast, including some possible rain/snow chances later on, updated for you right below…

Don’t forget that Doug has you covered with his long-range forecast and his latest thoughts on the pattern over at

Have a good night and a great Monday!
