New Year’s Eve PM 2017 – A Cold Start to 2018 with a Warm-Up By the Weekend

Good Sunday evening, everyone. We’re saying goodbye to 2017 tonight and ringing in a brand new year as we roll into your Monday. Unfortunately, it was quite a cold way to wrap up the year with highs only in the middle to upper teens. We’re going into the new year with the coldest night of the season so far, but with nothing on the radar below…

With the Arctic air still in place for Monday and the north wind planning on making it feel just raw, it may not be the best way to start a new year. As we go through the week ahead, I still see a warm-up on the way along with a storm system to watch by the end of the upcoming weekend. My updated forecast is right below…
