Monday PM January 8th – Quick Taste of Spring Still on the Way Before Winter Slams Back In

Good Monday evening, everyone. We had quite the foggy start to the day, but we also managed to end the day on a good note. After a cold start in the upper 20s with fog (even some freezing fog) around, we saw the sunshine break out. That helped temperatures warm into the middle 40s in most spots with some areas in KS and OK pushing 50° this afternoon. For the night ahead of us, we’ll have some clouds passing through and dense fog developing once again. At least the radar below stays quiet for tonight and for your Tuesday…

After we get past another foggy start, we’ll have temperatures warm up nicely again for your Tuesday afternoon. I’m still expecting highs to push into the 60s for a taste of early spring on Wednesday before our next system drags winter right back in here.
