Tuesday Evening February 13th – A Few Days of Spring on the Way

Good Tuesday evening, everyone. Despite a fair amount of clouds that we had late this morning and into the afternoon, we saw the thermometer climb above 50° in many spots today. We’ll have the clouds stick with us as we roll into the evening and night ahead of us. The radar below is looking quiet as the evening gets underway…

Everyone will be mostly cloudy tonight and most spots should be dry. We’ll still have a weak disturbance pass by and possibly give a spot or two a random shower overnight…

For everyone on your Valentine’s Day, we’ll have mostly cloudy skies be the rule of thumb for the day…

Despite the clouds, we’ll have a good southwest breeze kick in during the afternoon. That will continue to keep temperatures above normal for Wednesday. Look for afternoon highs to top out in the lower 60s…

With the south breeze staying at it going into Thursday morning, we’ll only drop back into the upper 50s by the start of the drive to work/school. Ahead of our next cold front, we’ll have a little taste of April across the area. We’ll have afternoon highs Thursday topping out in the lower 70s…

Going into Thursday afternoon and especially Thursday afternoon, we will have rain chances picking up as that next front works in…

Going through Thursday night and into Friday, temperatures will drop quite a bit behind the front. If any moisture is still around by the time we drop to about 30° Friday morning, this system could bring a few snow showers in before it clears out…

After Friday morning, we’ll keep things cold with highs back in the middle to upper 30s under mostly cloudy skies. Beyond Friday, the weekend is looking pretty good. Even with some clouds on Saturday, we’ll get highs to rebound into the upper 40s. Sunday looks quiet with highs climbing back into the middle 50s. Early next week, we’ll have another system bring rain chances back in here.
