Thursday Night Blog: Heat and thunderstorms

Good Thursday evening!  I hope your week is going fantastic.  Mine has been pretty good.  It has been busy as always but good.  Tomorrow is Friday!  Everyone loves Friday’s.  Plus the weather looks fantastic!  Take a look at the radar below.

We should be dry on Friday, but our next wave will roll out on Saturday.  Ahead of it, it looks partly sunny and warm.

Temperatures on Saturday will really warm up with a warm front shifting through during the morning hours.

We could see a few scattered thunderstorms as it shifts through.  During the afternoon, temperatures should go to about 90.

By Saturday night, more thunderstorms develop out across central KS.  Some of these could work in on Saturday night.  As they do, some could be strong to severe.

The front hangs out on Sunday giving us additional scattered thunderstorms.  Remember, my long range forecast is at headypattern.com
