Late Monday PM June 4th – A Brighter & Warmer Tuesday on the Way

Good late Monday evening, everyone. Our break from the early summer heat and humidity continued today thanks to quite a bit of cloud cover across a good portion of the area. After we had a chilly start in the middle 50s again this morning, we had afternoon highs top out in the lower 80s. Joplin reached a high of 81°, below our average high of 83°. It has been more than a month that we’ve been able to say that! We’ll keep things quiet going into tonight with nothing to worry about on the radar below…

For our Tuesday, it’s looking quite a bit brighter and it will be a bit warmer. We’ll still stay out of the early summer heat & humidity for Tuesday, but it won’t be long before we get another taste of the season yet to come. I have the updated forecast for you right below…

Don’t forget that Doug has you covered with his long-range forecast and latest thoughts on the pattern over at headypattern.com

Have a good night and a great Tuesday!

Nick
