Late Saturday PM June 2nd – A Nice Break From the Heat

Good late Saturday evening, everyone. Today was a bit of an interesting day. Some spots north of Pittsburg and Joplin started with early morning rain and t-storms while others stayed dry. Everyone started out on a warm and muggy note with morning temperatures in the middle to upper 70s. Thankfully, we hit the upper 80s early in the afternoon. Once we had our cold front work through, the north breeze started to bring in more comfortable air throughout the afternoon and evening. We’ll stay quiet tonight with nothing to worry about on the radar below…

After we start your Sunday on a bit of a chilly note, we’ll have a nice little stretch of temperatures back near normal. With that said, I do see another taste of early summer heat and humidity wanting to return. I have all those details spelled out for you in the updated forecast below…

Don’t forget that Doug has you covered with his long-range forecast and latest thoughts on the pattern over at headypattern.com

Have a good night and a great Sunday!

Nick
