Friday Evening June 30th – A Nice Day Waiting for Us Before T-Storm Chances Return

Good Friday evening, everyone. Today was certainly a day where Mother Nature was your wake-up call if you forgot to set your alarm this morning! After we started with a good punch of strong to severe t-storms this morning, we had a nice and warm afternoon with highs in the middle 80s. Going into the rest of the night, I can’t rule out a few t-storms along and south of I-44 with our front shifting southeast, but most of the action will stay south of us on the radar below…

Even though I have Saturday quiet and warm around here, that front will return soon and bring back the heat, humidity and the t-storm chances. I broke down the latest forecast for you below…

Don’t forget that Doug has you covered with the long-range forecast and his thoughts on the pattern over at headypattern.com

Have a good night and a great Saturday!

Nick

Next Saturday:  We stay dry and hot going through the rest of the weekend.
