Good late Saturday evening, everyone. It’s still amazing that Saturday marks the 28th day in a row with high temperatures above normal. Our normal high for late May should be 80°. We hit 91° this afternoon at the Joplin Regional Airport. We didn’t tie our record high of 94° set back in 1953 but we came pretty close today. Other than the heat and humidity being the rule of thumb, our skies stayed nice and quiet all day long. We’ll keep things quiet overnight on the radar below…
Expect Mother Nature to hit the repeat button for your Sunday. It’ll be another hot and humid day while stay dry under partly to mostly sunny skies. We’ll have the heat sticking around going through Memorial Day and into the coming week. However, we’ll also see rain chances pick up going into the week ahead of us.
