Wednesday Evening December 20th – Mild Start to Winter Before We Turn Cold This Weekend

Good Wednesday evening, everyone. So much for a warm-up today. Thanks to the persistent cloud cover along with some drizzle and fog, temperatures just couldn’t go anywhere. After we started around 50 early this morning, temperatures just held in the upper 40s to near 50 all day long. Even though the clouds and the drizzle/fog will stick with us through the night, we don’t have any big rain showing up on the radar below…

With some peaks of the sun expected for Thursday, we’ll actually warm up a bit for your first official day of the winter season. Enjoy that milder day, because we’re set to get cold for the holiday weekend. Doug has your updated forecast right below…

Don’t forget that Doug also has your long-range forecast and his latest thoughts on the pattern over at headypattern.com

Have a good night and a great Thursday!
