Friday Evening April 20th – Rain Chances Lining Up Once Again

Good Friday evening, everyone. We’ve finally made it to the weekend and it certainly started out on a pretty good note. We did have a cold start in the middle 30s this morning, but we saw highs rebound into the middle and upper 60s under partly to mostly sunny skies. Enjoy the dry time and quiet skies this evening because we will have quite a different setup for the rest of the weekend. We’ll stay quiet tonight while our next chance for rain builds off to the west on the radar below…

That band of rain out in western Kansas will work in late during the overnight. So, the evening may be fine, but plan on a round of rain by Saturday morning…

After the morning round of rain, most spots will see a bit of a break in the action to start the afternoon out. However, the system will bring a more persistent round of rain our way from Saturday afternoon and take us right into Sunday…

Despite the rain chances and mostly cloudy skies for Saturday and Sunday, we’ll have highs topping out in the upper 50s…

By Sunday evening, we’ll have the system move out and bring partly sunny skies back in as we star the new work/school week on Monday. With that being the plan for Monday afternoon, plan on highs going back into the middle and upper 60s…

We’ll keep temperatures mild for most of next week, even with a few more rain chances to keep an eye on. We’ll have a quick-moving system bring rain chances back in Tuesday evening…

After a quiet Wednesday, we’ll have another system bring some rain chances back in for late Thursday afternoon and evening…

A quick glimpse at next weekend looks promising. We’ll have highs in the upper 50s for Friday afternoon under partly sunny skies. After that, we could see mostly sunny skies for Saturday and Sunday with temperatures staying mild.
