Monday Evening December 18th – A Few More Above Normal Days Before the Bottom Drops

Good Monday evening, everyone. We definitely had a cloudy start to the day, but it was nice to see the sunshine return this afternoon. It didn’t do a whole lot in terms of warming us up, though. After we started with temperatures in the lower to middle 40s, the sunshine and south wind were both able to get highs into the lower 50s. For the rest of the night, some patchy & dense fog is possible before the clouds work back in by Tuesday morning. At the very least, we’ll keep the radar quiet below tonight…

Even though we were quiet today and had a nice break from the cloud cover, our next system is ready to work in. Not only am I watching our next system bring rain chances back in late Tuesday and into early Wednesday, I”m watching Arctic air that’ll work in later this week & a few systems by the holiday weekend.
